HOUSTON – A deer was caught roaming around a Kingwood house after jumping through a window.
It happened around 4 p.m. Thursday in the 5000 block of Loft Magnolia Court.
The caller told Houston police that the deer was in the backyard before leaping into the window. Police said officers arrived at the home in eight minutes to catch the "burglar."
The deer barricaded itself inside the homeowner's closet. Once police arrived, they used pillows to remove the deer.
"It went into our closet and stayed into our closet so the police had take a pillow to scare him out," Michelle White said.
The deer was safely removed from the home.

This cat, um, deer burglar in Kingwood was caught in the act. Nothing appeared to be missing from the home, so our officers let him go with a warning. 🦌 #RelationalPolicing takes many forms including helping our four-legged friends. pic.twitter.com/Xv0odNec8l
