HOUSTON – Law enforcement is responding to a shooting involving a police officer Monday night, according to the Houston Police Department.
The incident was reported around 8 p.m. in the 4100 block of Westheimer Road.

Police said the suspect was shot by an officer and is in unknown condition.
No officers were injured in the shooting.
Heavy police presence is at the scene.
Witnesses said they heard several shots being fired.
