Robber pistol-whips, grabs employee's hair before making off with cash during robbery

HOUSTON – A day at work turned violent at a clothing store in Northwest Houston, when a man held employees at gunpoint and demanded money.

Police said a Hispanic man entered the Fellas clothing store at 7840 Long Point at 6:35 p.m. on Nov. 13, walked straight to the back office, which was occupied by two employees, and knocked on the door.  

Surveillance video shows one employee opened the door and the unidentified man barged in and pulled out a gun. 

Police said the armed man grabbed the employee's hair and forced her to open the safe.

The robbery can be seen on video pistol-whipping the employee.

The other employee stood in the corner until she was called to help with the cash register trays. 

The money from the safe was placed in a bag and the robber made his way out the same way he entered. 

The robber got into a red Ford F-150.

Here is a description of the robber: 

Hispanic man, 30-35 years old,150-200 pounds, black jacket, blue jeans and sunglasses.

Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging  and/or arrest of the robber.
