Man ambushed by gunman fights back, kills gunman

A man ambushed by a gunman fought back in north Houston, early Sunday, police said.

Houston police were called to a scrap metal warehouse around 2:30 a.m. on John Alber Road near the Hardy Toll Road. They said the initial gunman shot at a man multiple times.

The two then struggled for the gun. The man got the upper hand and shot the initial gunman, who later died at the hospital, police said. 

Police said the deceased man may have worked at the location previously.

Police are working to learn more about this shooting.
