HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A missing juvenile was found safe and reunited with family after detectives with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office followed leads to a second north Harris County location, authorities said.
The child’s recovery came one day after investigators began looking into a runaway report received by the Patrol Division on Sept. 24. During the case, detectives developed information suggesting the juvenile may have been trafficked from a residence by someone known to investigators.

A search warrant was served at that home with assistance from the constable’s Special Operations Unit. The juvenile was not there, but detectives identified Brandi Lowe and continued investigating.
Authorities said evidence indicated Lowe had allegedly advertised the juvenile online for trafficking. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted a charge of promotion of prostitution, and Lowe was booked into the Harris County Jail. Her bond was set at $20,000 through the 497th District Court.
Detectives later obtained a warrant for another location, where they found the child and brought her home.
The investigation remains ongoing, and officials said additional arrests could follow.
“Protecting our most vulnerable residents, especially children, remains a top priority for my office,” Constable Mark Herman said.
