The first day of school for New Caney ISD is Thursday, August 6.
Montgomery ISD and Conroe ISD students start next week on August 12.
The Sheriff’s Office is also telling drivers to plan for longer commutes in the morning and afternoon since school buses will be back on the roads.
And of course, they are asking all drivers to watch out for children heading to and from school, obey speed limits in school zones, and to stop for flashing red lights on school buses as they pick up and drop off the students.
