Man shot after fight inside church in SE Houston

HOUSTON – An investigation is underway after a fight inside a church led to shots being fired Friday morning in southeast Houston.

The incident was reported at a church located at 8305 Brandon Street.

The Houston Police Department confirmed that the fight started inside the church between to groups, which spilled over outside in the parking lot where gunfire was exchanged.

One man was shot and taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.

No arrests have been made. A search is underway for the shooter involved.
