Where you can donate to help the people in Venezuela while they are trying to recover

HOUSTON – After an earthquake hit Venezuela last week, places in Houston have got together to allow residents of the community to donate to help those in need.

Places to donate products:

Houston Astros (Daikin Park)

When: Thursday from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. and during their Friday game against the Tampa Bay Rays

Where: Daikin Park (501 Crawford Street, Houston)

What to donate: Canned protein, sleeping bags, medical supplies and hygiene products

Sharky’s Waterfront Grill / Chimichurri’s South American Grill

When: Everyday till July 4 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Where: 1600 West Lake Houston Parkway, Houston

What to donate: Medical supplies, new or gently used clothing, baby essentials, personal hygiene products, etc.

10th Planet Houston (EADO)

When: Friday (5 p.m. - 9 p.m.) and Saturday (8 a.m. - 2 p.m.)

Where: 10 Planet Houston (3420 Rusk Street, Houston)

What to donate: Any items are accepted and sent directly to the collection center


Places to donate money:


Anything that you are able to donate, regardless of what it is, will be beneficial. The death rate has rose to 1,700 people, since yesterday.
