HOUSTON – Houston police with the Southeast Patrol Division responded to a reported shooting around 11:30 p.m. Friday at a corner store in the 8900 block of Cullen Boulevard.
When officers got to the scene, they found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, authorities said. He was taken to a nearby hospital and was believed to be in critical condition.
Police said it’s not yet clear what led up to the shooting.
Investigators are working to gather information, including reviewing surveillance footage, as they try to determine what happened. The suspect or suspects left the area before officers arrived.
