SWAT standoff ongoing at Santa Fe apartment after man fires gun at girlfriend The man was reportedly upset the woman was leaving and shot at her, but missed.

SANTA FE, Texas – Santa Fe police say a SWAT standoff is currently ongoing at an apartment complex after a man allegedly fired a gun at his girlfriend.
The incident started around 10:45 a.m. and is happening at a complex off 11th Street.
Santa Fe police say there was a dispute between a girlfriend and boyfriend who live together. She was reportedly packing up her things to leave when the man fired a gun at her.
Police say the man missed and the woman was able to escape uninjured. She then called 911.
The man is reportedly barricaded inside the apartment with a gun.
Police say this is a small apartment complex and all surrounding units have been vacated.
