Investigation underway after man found fatally stabbed at S Houston apartment

HPD investigators work to identify suspects, motive in apartment murder

Police are investigating after a man was found fatally stabbed inside an apartment in Houston’s southside on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to a welfare check around 3:45 p.m. on May 6 at an apartment complex located in the 10010 block of Cullen Boulevard.

When officers arrived and entered the unit, they discovered an unresponsive male suffering from an apparent stab wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man’s identity has not yet been released, pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD homicide detectives said there is currently no known motive, and no suspects have been identified.
