Intruder in custody after Cypress Woods High School placed on temporary lockdown

CYPRESS, Texas – An intruder was taken into custody after entering Cypress Woods High School on Tuesday morning, prompting a brief lockdown, according to school officials.
School police responded and the individual was taken into custody.
The campus was placed on lockdown at 10:48 a.m. and the lockdown was lifted at 10:55 a.m.
Officials said the situation was resolved quickly with minimal interruption to the school day.
