Music to our ears! Jordan HS senior Jaiden Suh volunteers sharing his love of music at nursing homes and hospitals

Suh is the sixteenth recipient of the KPRC 2-American Furniture Warehouse Senior Scholarship from the Class of 2026

HOUSTON – KPRC 2 and American Furniture Warehouse are surprising 20 deserving high school seniors with $2,500 scholarships in 2026. All students selected for scholarships have been nominated by their high schools.

The sixteenth recipient of the KPRC 2-American Furniture Warehouse Senior Scholarship from the class of 2026 is Jordan High School senior Jaiden Suh. Jordan High School in Fulshear is part of the Katy Independent School District.

Ranked ninth academically in his class of 791 students, Suh stands out as a scholar who is active in extracurriculars like the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), where he serves as Vice President. He is also an officer for his school’s chapters of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta, the honor society for mathematics.

With four years of participation in Jordan High School’s varsity orchestra, Suh is the group’s principal violist. He works with the nonprofit Spread the Music Association, volunteering more than 75 hours of his time to date playing music for patients in hospitals and nursing homes. Suh has also volunteered with Project C.U.R.E., packing and sorting medical supplies that would be distributed to hospitals in low-income communities.

Looking to the future, Suh plans to double-major in Economics and Political Science. Amherst College in Massachusetts is on the short list of places he’s considering to further his studies. Congratulations, Jaiden!
