A routine patrol turned into a police pursuit after an officer spotted a driver behaving erratically along the Gulf Freeway.
According to authorities, the officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a white Chrysler 300.

However, the driver refused to comply and continued driving, prompting a pursuit.
The chase continued along the Gulf Freeway before the driver eventually exited the freeway and came to a stop in the 2700 block of Reed Road.
Police say two people were taken into custody at the scene. No additional details about the suspects or potential charges have been released at this time.
