1 dead after vehicle with multiple teenagers inside allegedly runs stop sign, crashes in N. Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said a teenager was killed after being ejected from a vehicle which allegedly ran a stop sign and slammed into another vehicle in north Harris County Wednesday evening.

It happened in the 1100 block of Richcrest Drive, near the Greenspoint-area of Houston.

According to the sheriff’s office, a car occupied by multiple teenagers reportedly ran a stop sign at a high rate of speed and struck another car with one person inside.

The sheriff’s office says one of the teens from the suspected at-fault vehicle was ejected during the crash. The teenager did not survive.

Investigators are at the scene.
