Delays continue at Bush Intercontinental Airport amid gusty winds

HOUSTON – A ground stop that was issued due to gusty winds at Bush Intercontinental Airport has been lifted, but delays continue Monday evening.
The FAA initially issued the ground stop around 2:45 p.m. As of 6 p.m., it has been lifted.
Major delays continue at Bush Airport with the FAA reporting an average delay of 196 minutes.
So far, Bush has recorded a peak wind gust of 45 mph Monday.
