Motorcyclist killed in crash with minivan on Houston’s South Side Police said impairment not suspected
HOUSTON – A motorcyclist was killed Saturday afternoon during a crash with a minivan at Almeda Road and Hepburn Street.
The crash happened at around 4:50 p.m. on Saturday.
Houston Police Lt. Ali said the minivan was driving off from a stop sign on Hepburn when a motorcycle on Almeda collided with it.
The motorcyclist, believed to be in their 30’s, died on scene.
The HPD Drug Recognition Unit responded and determined the driver of the minivan was not under the influence.
At this time, police do not know if speed was a factor.
