Teacher at Livingston Junior High on leave after substance discovered during medical incident

LIVINGSTON, Texas – A Livingston Junior High teacher has been placed on paid administrative leave after a substance was found on campus, according to Livingston Independent School District officials.
District officials said staff assisted the teacher during a medical situation when a “substance” was discovered, prompting them to notify law enforcement.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
The district said the staff member has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
