2 women killed, 2 hospitalized after vehicle collides with Tesla in Post Oak area Victims described as ‘elderly women’

Two women died following a major car crash in the Post Oak area Tuesday afternoon, according to the Houston Police Department.
The crash was reported just before 2 p.m. in the 4600 block of Post Oak Place near Post Oak Park Drive.
According to preliminary information from HPD, the collision involved a Buick and a Tesla.
Police say two women who were inside the Buick died at the scene. Two other women in the car were transported to a nearby hospital following the crash.
The ages of the four women were not released, but HPD described them as “elderly.”
Authorities said the Tesla driver stayed at the scene and was not hurt.

Houston police have not yet released details about what may have led to the crash.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
