A Houston attorney is back behind bars as police continue investigating the disappearance — and possible murder — of a man who has been missing for nearly two years.

Sean Kennedy, a Houston lawyer, was arrested this week on a stalking charge involving his neighbor.

At the same time, Houston police are still looking into his potential involvement in the case of Robert Bond, a 40-year-old man who vanished in June of 2024.

Kennedy has not been charged in connection with Bond’s disappearance, but court records outline allegations that tie him to a possible murder investigation.

Missing man lived with attorney

Bond’s family says that at the time he disappeared, he was living with Kennedy and Kennedy’s wife at their home on Sage Road near The Galleria.

KPRC 2’s chopper previously flew over that house as Houston police served a search warrant in Sept. 2024 in the effort to find Bond. During that search, Kennedy was arrested on unrelated drug charges. He later bonded out of jail.

Bond has not been seen since June 2024. His mother, Cindy Splater, says the uncertainty is agonizing.

“The hardest part about it is missing him and, you know, missing his visits and his phone calls and emails and voice messages,” Splater said. “But it’s not knowing what happened and where he is. You know, I mean, obviously by now it’s been coming up on two years. I know he’s gone ... and I’m pretty fairly sure what happened.”

New stalking charge and bond revoked

More recently, Kennedy’s neighbor told police he installed a surveillance camera pointed directly into her bedroom.

According to court documents, Kennedy is accused of watching her, taking photos of her, yelling at her and even interrupting her utility service.

According to court records, the victim showed investigators surveillance footage that reportedly showed Kennedy installing the camera on Jan. 20, 2026. The camera also contained microphones and had night-vision capabilities.

Houston police arrested Kennedy on a stalking charge tied to those allegations.

Because he was already out on bond from the earlier drug case, in which conditions require defendants not to commit new crimes, Kennedy is now being held in jail without bond.

For Bond’s mother, that development brings at least some measure of relief.

“Their behavior is beyond bizarre and anybody who knows them knows that,” Splater said, referring to Kennedy and his wife.

Alle Price was arrested during the initial search for Bond as well. She was charged with possession or use of fraudulent identifying information after investigators found her with more than 50 items of identifying information from multiple complainants, records show.

Her cases remain pending.

Investigation remains open

Houston police told KPRC 2 News on Friday the investigation into Robert Bond’s disappearance remains active. Bond has still not been found, and no one has been charged in connection with his case.

KPRC 2 reached out to Kennedy’s defense team regarding the new stalking charge but his attorney declined to comment.
