Got an outstanding warrant? You can avoid arrest at Richmond’s ‘Safe Harbor Warrant Days’

RICHMOND, Texas – Have an outstanding warrant in Richmond? The city is giving you two days to take care of the warrant without fear of being arrested.

The city’s Safe Harbor Warrant Days are set the following dates and times:

  • Monday, Feb. 23 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

City officials are urging people with outstanding warrants to go the Richmond Municipal Court during these days before their annual enforcement week from March 9-13.

The court is located at 600 Morton Street in Richmond.

“This is your opportunity to work with us to resolve your case and clear warrants ahead of the Warrant Enforcement week and avoid arrest,” Richmond Municipal Court Judge Lora Jean Lenzsch said.

The city said payments on outstanding warrants will be expected and payments plans are at the judge’s discretion.
