NEW FOOTAGE OF ATTACK: HPD releases surveillance video in fatal shooting on Rolleston Lane

Authorities in Houston have released new surveillance footage of a fatal shooting last year, in hopes of learning new information about the crime and the perpetrators.

The shooting happened around 8:15 p.m. on April 23, 2025, at a residence located at 10219 Rolleston Lane.

According to the Houston Police Department, patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the location and found an unresponsive man inside the garage.

The victim, identified as Daylan Walker, 26, had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders with Houston Fire Department.

Officers also located a second 26-year-old man inside the residence who had suffered at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said a white Mercedes Benz sedan arrived at the residence, and two unknown male suspects exited the vehicle and approached the open garage.

The suspects fired multiple shots into the garage, striking both victims, before running back to the car and driving away from the scene.

The suspects are described as two males wearing hoodies and masks. Surveillance video of the shooting has been released as part of the investigation.
