Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Monday evening in northwest Harris County.
According to HCSO, the crash happened around 5:23 p.m. on Jan. 27, 2026, at 25820 U.S. 290 near Spring Cypress Road.

The incident involved a Ford F-150 pickup truck and a minibike-style dirt bike.
Investigators said the operator of the minibike was traveling westbound on the U.S. 290 feeder road in the number three lane and was passing vehicles on the right.
At the same time, the driver of the pickup truck made a right turn from the number three lane into a business driveway.
The pickup truck struck the minibike, running over both the bike and the rider.
The male rider became pinned underneath the truck and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities said the driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and did not show any signs of intoxication.
The identity of the victim has not been released. He is presumed to be an adult, though that has not yet been confirmed.
The investigation remains ongoing.
