HOUSTON – Houston police are looking for who shot a woman inside a northwest Houston apartment Friday evening.
HPD says it happened in the 6200 block of W. Tidwell, near Lumberdale Road just before 8 p.m.
The woman was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, but died from her injuries.
Police say it is unclear whether the shooting happened inside or outside of the apartment, but there was some sort of argument before the shooting.
Neighbors say they heard about 30 gunshots during the shooting.
Three children, a 6-year-old boy, 6-year-old girl, and a 8-year-old girl, were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting. They were not hurt.
At this time, police say there is at least one suspect, but there may possibly be two. They are still working to determine that.
