Crews responding to 2-alarm warehouse fire in Southwest Houston

HFD says Hazmat units called after batteries discovered in warehouse

HOUSTON – Crews are responding to a multi-alarm warehouse fire in Southwest Houston on Saturday morning.

The Houston Fire Department was dispatched to the fire at 5710 Savoy Road at 6:23 a.m.

Officials said they believe a vehicle also caught fire.

A second alarm was requested at 7 a.m.

HFD Hazmat units are also being called to the scene after batteries were discovered at the warehouse.

Officials said there is no information on injuries or fatalities at this time.
