Fort Bend County toll rates to rise in 2026

Starting Jan. 1, 2026, drivers on Fort Bend County toll roads will see a slight increase in toll rates.

This change comes after the Fort Bend County Toll Road Authority and the Fort Bend Grand Parkway Toll Road Authority approved a measure to raise the rates by a few cents.

The FBCTRA approved the increase as part of a required annual adjustment process that uses inflation data. The policy mandates toll rates rise by at least 2 percent or the Consumer Price Index for the Houston area, whichever is greater.

Because inflation measured 1.1 percent as of August 2025, the higher 2 percent adjustment was triggered for 2026. The measure was approved without discussion.
