Person hit by car on North Freeway

HOUSTON – All southbound lanes of I-45 North are closed near N Main Street after a person was hit and killed by a car on this evening.

Houston police tell KPRC that it happened just after 5:50 p.m. when the person was scene standing in the center lane of the freeway.

It happened between N Main and Patton.

The southbound lanes will remain closed while officers investigate.
