Man, woman found dead in aparent murder-suicide at apartment complex in downtown Houston

A man and woman were found dead Thursday night in an apparent murder-suicide at an apartment complex in downtown Houston.

Officers with the Houston Police Department responded to a neighbor’s call that said there was a pool of blood coming from a nearby apartment located at 1617 Fannin Street around 9:40 p.m.

When officers responded, they said they found a 24-year-old woman dead inside the apartment from an apparent gunshot wound. While searching the rest of the apartment, officers then found a man dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Investigators say the man shot the woman before shooting himself.
