Houston plastic surgeon indicted, accused of performing surgery while intoxicated

A Houston plastic surgeon has been indicted for allegedly performing surgery while intoxicated, according to the Sugar Land Police Department. – A Houston plastic surgeon has been indicted for allegedly performing surgery while intoxicated, according to the Sugar Land Police Department.
Azul Shirazali Jaffer, 50, is charged with performing surgery while intoxicated, a felony offense.
Sugar Land police arrested Jaffer on Monday following the indictment. He was booked into the Fort Bend County Jail.
According to Jaffer’s website , he has practiced plastic surgery for more than 24 years and is listed as a five-star–rated surgeon.
