When the driver of the Jeep refused to stop, they led deputies on a short chase but crashed into a sedan that was traveling on Fry Road and Tealbrook Drive.

The driver of the sedan, a woman believed to be in her 30s, had to be extricated from the vehicle and transported to the hospital in critical condition. It’s not clear if she will survive.

The driver of the Jeep was also transported to the hospital for minor injuries.

Deputies say the driver of the Jeep will face several injuries, including possible murder charges if the woman dies from her injuries.
