Man shot in Spring neighborhood; suspected shooter in custody

Deputies with Harris County Constable Precinct 4 are investigating a shooting that unfolded early Wednesday afternoon in the Spring area.

The shooting happened in the 4400 block of Donalbain Drive in Spring.

According to the constable’s office, a male victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken by private vehicle to a nearby fire station for medical assistance.

The victim is still hospitalized, and his condition has not been released.

Deputies say the suspect ran from the scene on foot. A perimeter was set up around the neighborhood.

Roughly an hour and a half later, the suspect was captured and taken into custody.
