High-speed NW Harris County chase ends with both suspects in custody

Vehicle involved later reported stolen

A routine traffic stop attempt turned into a high-speed chase on Mason Road before the suspects ditched their vehicle, sending officers searching door-to-door.

A 15-minute pursuit ended with a heavy police presence and search.

Sky 2 captured the final moments of the chase, where a vehicle occupied by two suspects reached speeds over 80 miles per hour before stopping.

Constable deputies say both suspects ran after the vehicle came to a stop. One was quickly arrested. The second suspect fled into a nearby neighborhood.

HCSO used a perimeter, drone assistance, and DPS Air Support in the area of Maple Village Drive and Lonestar Oak. The second suspect was later found and arrested.

Further investigation revealed that the vehicle involved was reported stolen. Deputies are now contacting the rightful owner.
