Man killed after gunshots fired outside Conroe nightclub

CONROE, Texas – Conroe police say a man died after being shot in the head outside a nightclub early Monday morning.

The Conroe Police Department said it happened just after 2 a.m. outside the Tiana’s Easy Inn nightclub in the area of 615 W. Santa Fe Street.

Officers responded for a welfare check call and while en route, got additional information about gunshots being fired in the area of the nightclub with a possible victim.

When officers arrived, they found other people attending to a man who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the head.

EMS arrived on scene shortly afterwards and the man was pronounced dead.

The victim has not yet been identified.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
