Husband, wife found shot to death inside Cypress home after grandfather reports kids didn’t show up for school

CYPRESS, Texas – A husband and a wife were found shot to death inside their Cypress home after the woman’s father said he did a welfare check on the children, who didn’t show up for school Thursday morning.

Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Deputies said they were called to the home located in the 13700 block of Bonaventure Drive after the grandfather, who lives next door, went to do a wellness check when his grandkids didn’t show up for a ride to school.

When deputies arrived, they found a man and woman in their 50s shot to death.

It’s not clear what exactly happened or if the kids were inside the home at the time of the shooting, but the kids were ages 16, 11, and 8 and were not harmed.
