The 11-year and 14-day sentence was significant, because Nov. 14 (11/14) was McMullin’s date of birth.
McMullin was on a first date with a woman on April 19, 2023, and had just left a Voodoo Donut shop on Westheimer Road when Chambers lost control of her blue Porsche 911 Carrera while driving at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle jumped a curb and hit McMullin. He died as a result.
