Human skeletal remains found inside portable restroom in downtown Houston

HOUSTON – An investigation is under after human skeletal remains were found inside a portable restroom Tuesday in downtown Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
The discovery was made at 1900 Ruiz Street about 3:15 p.m.
Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on the skeletal remains to help identity the person and their cause of death.
Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600.
