Details are limited due to how active the investigation is, but HPD confirmed it was initially reported as a drowning call on White Oak Drive and Gladys Street.
The man’s body was recovered from the bayou just before 9:30 a.m., investigators tell KPRC 2’s Re’Chelle Turner. It’s unclear if foul play was a factor, as of this writing, but medical examiners will know more once the body is turned over to them.
This is the 7th body found in Houston bayous in the last 30 days. It’s at least the 23rd recovered this year alone.
