Man shot at children’s soccer game in Aldine

A man was hospitalized after being shot at a children’s soccer game in Aldine.

Deputies with Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 1100 block of Hill Road, where they found the 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound. It’s unclear where the man was shot.

The man was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities suspect the gunshot may have come from a nearby wooded area, where people may have been shooting a target with a rifle.

Children and families were reportedly present at the field where the man was hit.

Several people have been detained, but the investigation is ongoing.
