Houston firefighter flown to hospital after suffering medical emergency while transporting patient

A Houston firefighter was rushed to a hospital after he suffered a medical emergency on Sunday.
The incident happened as the firefighter was transporting a patient to HCA Kingwood.

He was admitted to the hospital in Kingwood and doctors had him transported to Memorial Hermann in the Medical Center.
The circumstances of the medical episode are not clear at this time. Sunday night, the Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association announced that the firefighter’s name is Stephen Scott from Station 102.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez put out a post on X, asking for prayers for Scott.
