3 workers died while working in sewer in Trinity County

TRINITY COUNTY, Texas – Two workers and a contractor are dead after a ‘tragic work accident,’ President and CEO of H20 Innovation, a water solutions company, said on Wednesday.

CEO Frédéric Dugré released a statement about the incident that happened in Trinity County, saying that several workers and contractors were working on repairs in Trinity when three workers who were working on a sewer died.

The company is still working to determine what led up to the deaths.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of the three people who lost their lives. This is a sad day for our entire team. Right now, we are focused on doing all we can to support the families of those employees and the rest of our team. Out of respect for them and the continuing investigation, we will release more information when it is available and as permitted by the families and law enforcement,” said Dugré
