2 Harris County deputies arrested over the weekend on drunk driving charges

Both deputies have been relieved of duties

HOUSTON – Two deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office were both arrested in two separate traffic stops over the weekend on drunk driving charges.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, HCSO Sgt. Dung Hoang was relieved of duty on Sunday following his arrest by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office on a misdemeanor DWI charge.

Hoang has since posted bond and due back in court on Aug. 29.

HCSO also confirmed Ariana Isis Martinez, a newly hired lateral deputy assigned to basic training at the Sheriff’s Office training academy, was also relieved of duty on Sunday following her arrest by the Harris County Precinct 8 Constable’s Office on a misdemeanor DWI charge.

Martinez has posted bond and due back in court on Aug. 29.
