Multiple lanes of Gulf Freeway shutdown after man riding bicycle on highway struck, killed in Webster

WEBSTER, Texas – Multiple southbound lanes of the Gulf Freeway are closed at FM 528/W. NASA Pkwy after a man riding a bicycle on the highway was struck and killed.

Webster Police confirmed first responders were called to the scene around 6:50 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man who had been riding a bicycle towards traffic on the main lanes of the freeway had been struck.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
