One man is in the hospital and five others in custody following a shooting in Northwest Houston

Houston Police said they were dispatched to a business on Antoine Dr. and West Tidwell around midnight after reports of a shooting.

Investigators said that when they arrived, they found the victim had a gunshot wound on his and he told authorities that a group of men were trying to hurt him. Officers detained five suspects at the scene and recovered a possible weapon from the vehicle pf one of the suspects.

The suspects and victim are believed to have known each other before the incident but their relationship is unknown at this time. The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover. No word on what charges the five men could be facing.
