Woman dead after family member finds her shot in Katy home

A woman was pronounced dead at the scene after she was shot in Katy.
The shooting was reported at 1:07 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. It happened in the 4600 block of Valley Rill Road in Katy.
KPRC 2’s Bryce Newberry learned that the adult woman was found by a family member in a home.
We are working to identify the victim and learn information on potential suspects.
