Stolen car from George Foreman family found during traffic stop in Harris County

A vehicle stolen from the estate of late boxing legend George Foreman has been recovered, according to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

Deputies say the discovery happened Monday night when a Precinct 4 deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 7700 block of FM 1960 Road East. During the stop, investigators learned the vehicle had been reported stolen by the Foreman family.

The driver, who has not yet been publicly identified, was also found to have an active warrant for burglary. The suspect was immediately taken into custody.

No additional details about the suspect or circumstances surrounding the vehicle theft have been released.
