HOUSTON – Houston Police say an 11-year-old boy has been taken to a hospital after a drive-by shooting on the northeast side of town Thursday.
This happened in the 8600 block of Lomax Street, near the intersection of Berry Road.

Police say the 11-year-old was playing basketball outside with his brother when a man drove by and fired at least two gunshots out the window of his vehicle, hitting the 11-year-old. The other child was not hurt.
Police are looking for a blue, four door car, they say the man was driving.
The boy was hit in the stomach and is in surgery.
