Woman shot, dies after pointing gun at Brazoria County constable deputies during search warrant execution

BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas – The Brazoria County Pct. 1 Constable’s Office says a woman who was taken to a hospital after being shot by deputies near Alvin Thursday has died.

This happened at a home at 3501 Doris Stinson Road just after 3 p.m. Thursday.

According to the constable’s office, multiple agencies executed a narcotics search warrant at the home.

During the operation, the constable’s office says a woman pointed a gun at deputies. Two deputies fired their weapons at the woman.

CPR was performed and the woman was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

No deputies were injured. The shooting is under investigation by the Texas Rangers.
