Woman wanted after using Target shopping cart as weapon while shoplifting in Montgomery County

Law enforcement officials in Montgomery County are asking for the public’s help in identifying a shoplifter who attacked employees who tried to stop her.
The incident happened on May 19 at a Target in New Caney.
Authorities say the woman attempted to conceal items in her cart to avoid scanning them at the self-checkout. When Target employees tried to confront her, she rammed through them with her cart and left the store.
She was captured on camera leaving in a Toyota Sedan.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 281-297-6500.
