Houston firefighters battle heavy flames shooting out of East End building

Heavy flames were seen shooting out of a large commercial building in Houston’s East End early Monday morning.

It’s unclear how the fire started, but firefighters with Houston FD were called a little before 5 a.m. to a commercial building with heavy fire on Esperson near Navigation Drive, not too far from Hwy 90.

No injuries have been reported, as of this writing, but additional reinforcements were called to help battle the fire.
