HOUSTON – Authorities are on the hunt for a man’s killer after he was found gunned down overnight Thursday outside an apartment in southeast Houston.
Houston police said they were called around 2:30 a.m. to the apartment complex on Redford Street near the Gulf Freeway.
It’s unclear what led up to the shooting, but witnesses said they heard several gunshots in the area and went outside to find an unidentified man, possibly in his 20s, on the ground suffering several fatal gunshot wounds.

At last check, police have not released any new details but said they would be combing the area and looking through surveillance footage to try and piece everything together.
HPD is also asking for anyone with helpful information in solving this case to call police or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
